Music has always been a driving force in my life. I respect all kinds of music, but I prefer Iron Maiden with a dash of the Scorpions given the choice.
Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden
- (The above photo was taken at an Iron Maiden show in Montreal, before digital cameras, so said camera was hidden in a place where security guards don’t dare check unless they want a lawsuit.)
- I am not a groupie. I can certain appreciate such amazing drooling eye candy as Bruce Dickinson and I open admit it that given the chance to meet him, I will swoon and act like a fool.
- There is nothing like being in the front row of a concert – unless there are crowd surfers, then well ow.
- Other groups besides Iron Maiden, The Scorpions that I listen to include Blackmoore’s Night, Rush and Alice Cooper.
- I hate whiney music such as Celine Dion and I absolutely hate dance/techno that to me isn’t music at all.
- I can respect anyone’ choice to listen to what they want to, but when society forces me to listen to MUSAC crap in an elevator or on the phone on hold – I resent it greatly.
- My first concert was at the age of 13, I remember wearing the t-shirt proudly and thinking how cool it was that my ears were ringing for 2 days. (Okay, stupid moment in my life there.)
- Do not mention Metallica in my presence, my blood boils and you will be receiving a lecture of why I went from being in their fan club to never ever, EVER wanting to hear their crap again.
- Music brings out some very serious opinions in me. Don’t get me started!
